"There'll come a time when stars fall down
that's when you'll reach
catch one for me"
clutch it firm and hold it tight
stick it straight
in your pocket
don't let go, hold on all night
treat stars like love
sparkles glowing
in the dark
lighting up the heaven's bed
reflecting softly,
calling gently,
searching from your eyes
never to let go,
never to lose
no thought, no mind
just jump, and let
your tired face fall
succumb into
the mysteries and to the dark
to open up
and let you see

The Scent of Summers
When the sun would come out
it tickles my nose
the sweet birdies shout
and the fresh new grass grows
songs of spring fever
sing in my ears
of a squirrel, a beaver
little racoons and bears
of deer that are prancing
out in bright meadows
and small children dancing
outside their windows
laughter and smiles
are all I can see
joy stretches for miles
and blooms within me
giddiness shines
brighter than the sun
and painful burn lines
are erased by the fun
popsicles lick at my
dry and parched tongue
thinking of it I sigh
the sweet song still sung
it tickles my nose
the sweet birdies shout
and the fresh new grass grows
songs of spring fever
sing in my ears
of a squirrel, a beaver
little racoons and bears
of deer that are prancing
out in bright meadows

♥ Love Poems ♥
Lately I have been in a little bit of a love mood... so have written a couple love poems.
Here are some of my favorites :)
Sweeter Than Pie
I wanna hold your hand
I thought these words one day
there was nothing I could do
to change the words I'd say
they came to me quite suddenly
no telling me from where
but suddenly occurred to me
as I was sitting there
they brought a smile to my face
a brightness to my eyes
I felt as though I'd one a case
of fresh-baked apple pies
They would have been your favorite
fresh baked and piping hot
I felt these pies were just like you
a sure prize when begot
I thought of sweetness like a fruit
how sweet you are to me
of smiles, dimples "oh so cute!"
and how you're all I see
so that is how I knew, just then
just what I wanted most
not of riches or fine things
some secret, not to boast
I wanna hold your hand- I knew!
it rang out clear and high
you were the greatest prize to have
a treat sweeter than pie
My Calculations of Love
Ten small things are on my mind
-your eyes, your smile, your voice I find
to be quite sweet- my favorite kind
of things you know- the way we're tied-
so here are five, and there's five more
thoughts of you I have in store
here's five words I think of you:
I wanna hold your hand, I do~
and four you I give you my love
and three words spelling out that love
there are two things- there's me and you
and noone for me, none but you

For Valentines Day :)
In the Rain~
It was just a night in the rain
this summer heat seemed much the same
as past and present nights to come
no hinted presence of things done
The rain dripped down in heavy throbs
covered my face like content sobs
moon shining down on my pale face
two warm bodies closed the space
'tween me and you, our heart and soul
my captured heart you quickly stole
it felt quite painful, yet quite nice
I heard you say "I love you" twice
Silly Boy Poem~
Sun is shining
smiles pining
face still grinning
my head spinning
circled by a crown of joy
who know how much could come from a boy?

Crusifixion
The pittyless laughter, echoing in the
empty air
void of any regret.
Jovial and bright, its vocalist
hides not in shame or fear,
representing themselves entirely
in the exact way they truly are
a murderer, plain and broad
as the rise of daylight
content in their cold blooded heart,
willing only for the sickly deed to continue
This happy word, this jovial feeling,
lights of the heart
of this horrific being
mercilous in their deeds
and demonic in their sins
blind to their errors
unknowing to what lies, unavoidably in store
judged not according to my indecision,
but dependent upon
him who they comitted against
empty air
void of any regret.

Never More Than Cheese Toast
My father never cooked more than cheese toast
except the occasional steam-cooked greans
He'd call us in- to the hectic kitchen,
requiring help in making the same meal
"Taters" wildly sliced and thrown
into a frying pan by my big sister
frozen hot dog buns- slightly thawed
buttered enthusiastically by my big,
happy brother
screams from my own- crooked toothed
smile- as I struggled to pop each
ice cube from the box- into our colored cups.
Dinner would be small-
just enough for the four of us...
or maybe some leftovers for my Mom
who was gone
except the occasional steam-cooked greans

A Bloody Opponent
My mind was a sword with no
obvious opponent
No tyrrannical punishment
could I bestow, without
the knowledge of who
the victim might be.
Against my own self,
this bloody sword paved its way
slicing itself into my blurry
thoughts
Smashing against me,
its hard words and fearful
imaginations
The view into my soul
was unmarked, clear and precise
as the enemy, being myself-
slashed its ways into
my open walls.
I would cry desperately
aloud
-from the solitary state
I so imevitably found myself in
The angry winds of time,
tearing pieces of me
away with it,
fleeing as I recognized
their sinful crime-
A pain
so hardly sincere
blunt as it pierces my side-
demonic as it plunges deep
into my thoughts
obvious opponent
No tyrrannical punishment
could I bestow, without
the knowledge of who
the victim might be.
